West Wing Cottage is our new self catering cottage which we have introduced following the successful launch of our other cottage, Plas Dinas Lodge in 2009. The cottage is now fully booked for this season, so we are now booking for 2011.
As the name suggests, the cottage is the West wing of the historic Plas Dinas Country House, set in 15 acres of beautifully peaceful grounds with distant sea views. Just 3 miles from Caernarfon, West Wing Cottage is an ideal base to explore beautiful Snowdonia with many of the premier attractions of North Wales close by.
- Double Bedroom with double bed and views over "The Mount".
- Twin Bedroom with 2 single beds and lovely views over open countryside. Also has a flat screen digital TV. This room can have a king-size bed on request.
- Bathroom - with corner bath and stand-up shower over, and twin basins.
- Lounge with open fire, dining area with great views over open countryside, TV, Sky+, DVD player with a good selection of DVD titles
- Kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, halogen hob and electric fan assisted oven. Table & chairs for 4 people and distant sea views from the kitchen sink!
West Wing Cottage also has central heating, small private decking area with table, chairs and gas BBQ. Wireless internet access is available for a small charge. We provide a good selection of board games as well as information on the local area attractions. Access to a washing machine & tumble dryer is available on request.
You are also free to explore the extensive grounds of Plas Dinas Country House, and even enjoy a meal or drink there in the evening or book a full cooked breakfast for the morning.*
Please note that we do not accept pets and that smoking is not allowed throughout West Wing Cottage. We regret that children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the hotel services of the adjoining Plas Dinas Country House.
Keys can be collected between 4pm & 10pm from Plas Dinas Country House reception. You must vacate the cottage no later than 10am on your last morning.
All bed linen and towels are provided, and heating and electricity is included as well as an initial supply of coal and logs should you fancy a real open fire!
